Hello, it’s nice to virtually meet you. Thanks for checking my profile.

I am a San Francisco based playwright. My work has received several professional productions. My most recent production, The Creature, had its world premiere in San Francisco this past season where it garnered five BATCC award nominations, won one and sold out its entire run. Here is the glowing review from the SF Chronicle (Yes, we love the "little man" icon when he's happy!)

I’m currently working on a new play, Golden Gate Fair commissioned by PlayGround. My last commissioned play, Lolita Roadtrip received a $15,000 production grant and will have its World Premiere next season at San Jose Stage Company. I have worked with Crowded Fire Theater Company on a staged reading/workshop of my San Francisco Arts Commission granted play, "Zoo Logic." An earlier draft was presented at the Magic Theatre’s Z/Magic Monday reading series. I’m a Bay Area Playwright’s Festival alumni (BASH) and my play "One Stone / Ein-stein" was presented as part of the Playwrights Foundation’s In The Rough series at The Jewish Theatre in SF. Past work includes: "The Creature: an audio podcast play" recorded at the Magic Theatre and available at http://www.blackboxtheatre.com "Tenders in the Fog" at San Jose Stage Company (‘05 Dean Goodman Award, Original Script), "Working for the Mouse!" http://www.workingforthemouse.com/ with Impact Theater, "49 Miles" with Crowded Fire, "Chain Reactions" with Theatre of Yugen, CAFÉ and The Cutting Ball. My plays have received the S.F. Fringe Festival’s “Best Of” award in ’96 and 2000. I received PlayGround's Emerging Playwright Award and a 2003 Playwriting Fellowship. I hold a BA in Theatre from UCLA and MFA in Creative Writing from SFSU. I was a Djerassi playwright in residence and I am an Active Member of the Dramatist’s Guild of America.
