In 2008 Raelle Myrick-Hodges was appointed Artistic Director to Brava! for Women in the Arts. She succeeded founder/Executive Director of Brava for 22 years. In the past two years, through the current economic crisis, restructuring of  the company’s infrastructure, and refining its role as a theater arts organization in its region, Brava has produced more than 20 projects in two years. From extensive works-in-progress to world  premieres to presenting international dance and music, Brava holds to its mission in innovative ways as it enters its next 20 years. Raelle is committed to the new journey the American theater landscape is taking for future generations. As Artistic Director of Brava Theater, Raelle will be developing/presenting new work by Joe Goode,Cherrie Moraga and Theatre Monnot (Beirut, Lebanon).
