I have been the managing editor of American Theatre magazine since 2009, and on its editorial staff since 2004. In addition to compiling the monthly Global Spotlight column, some of my favorite writing assignments for the magazine have included interviewing Duncan Sheik, visiting Little Rock for Arkansas Rep's docudrama marking the 50th anniversary of the integration of Central High School, reporting on a crop of Virginia Woolf stage adaptations, and writing about my visits to Greece and Bulgaria. I've also written about the arts for Theatre World, TheatreForum and the Creative Capital Foundation.
While in Chicago I'll be keeping my ears open for feedback about the magazine and ideas for future stories, so please don't be shy in seeking me out!
