Clarisa Ruiz

Clarisa Ruiz has a BA in Philosophy from the University of Paris I. She has been Colombian Cultural Attaché in France, has worked as director to the Santafé Gallery, assistant director of the Corporación Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro, assistant director of the National Theater, Director of the Casa del Teatro, Director of the Arts Academy of Bogotá (ASAB). Clarisa is also a writer of children's books. One of them, Palabras que me gustan (Words I Like), received a special mention from the IBBY International in 1983. She has been Director to the Arts Division of the Colombian Ministry of Culture since 2004.
