Arthur Nacht is the principal of Nacht Theatre Consulting, LLC, a consulting practice specializing in the financial and strategic management of performing arts organizations, especially nonprofit theatres. His primary services include preparing financial statement forecasts and analyses and also designing management information systems. Arthur completed a thirty-year career in corporate finance in 2001. For fourteen years, he was Director of Financial Planning at Packard Bioscience Company. For ten years, he was the principal of Corporate Financial Planning, Inc., a consultancy that specialized in computer-based financial modeling. Past and present consulting clients include International Festival of Arts and Ideas, Long Wharf Theatre, Pearl Theatre and Nonprofit Finance Fund, the latter in collaboration with WolfBrown. Arthur has three management degrees: a BS in finance with honors from Syracuse University (1969), an MBA in finance from Harvard Business School (1971) and an MFA in theatre management from Yale School of Drama (2006).
